Hand & Upper Extremity
Eisenhower Desert Orthopedic Center provides treatment of the entire spectrum of hand and upper extremity conditions from complex hand reconstruction to rotator cuff repairs. In order to successfully treat injuries to a complicated mechanism like the hand, our surgeons are skilled in a combination of techniques - orthopedic surgery, microsurgery, vascular and plastic surgery.
Our physicians perform more than 800 joint replacements each year, putting Eisenhower Desert Orthopedic Center in the top one percent in volume of joint replacements performed in the United States by a single orthopedic group. In fact, thanks to recent technological developments, the replacement of knee, hip, shoulder, finger, wrist and ankle joints has become routine procedure. The Sports Medicine Team at Eisenhower Desert Orthopedic Center uses an integrated approach to care for all types of athletes. Our physicians provide sideline coverage for student athletes at the local high schools. We provide care for the professional athletes at the BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament and Bob Hope Classic Golf Tournament. We also assist resident athletes in maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.
