Cancer Resource Center
At our Cancer Resource Center - conveniently located on the first floor of the Cancer Center - the most comprehensive and up-to-date information on cancer diagnosis, treatment, prevention and research is literally at your fingertips. An electronic catalog of information called CancerHelp® uses a touch-screen computer to access more than 100 National Cancer Institute certified Web sites. It is easy to use for people who have had a lot or a little experience with computers. And it's free.
When it comes to cancer, knowledge is power.
The CancerHelp® system is updated monthly, so you can always find the latest cancer information available. Information is explained in easy-to-understand language and is available in English and Spanish.
In the Cancer Resource Center is the American Cancer Society's Cancer Help Line, which is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with specially trained cancer information specialists. Just pick up the phone, and you're connected. No voice mail, no automated telephone systems - a real, live person to answer questions and provide information.
Plus, a library of books and pamphlets are available. There's always someone on hand to help you find what you're looking for.
