This magnificent new 97,000 square foot facility houses the Arnold Palmer Prostate Center, the Eisenhower Schnitzer/Novack Breast Center, Eisenhower Imaging Center, Radiation Oncology, the Infusion Center, and Cancer Support Services.

Eisenhower Smilow Heart Center is the only center in the Coachella Valley with a dedicated electrophysiology suite – in fact, the center has two – and highly trained electrophysiologists qualified to perform many advanced procedures. Clinically distinguished, the 11,000 square foot Renker Wellness Center will receive, in October 2005, the coveted certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation positioning the Renker Wellness Center in the top one percent (or top 30) of the more than 3,000 cardiac rehabilitation facilities nationwide.
Eisenhower Orthopedics Center of Excellence: Eisenhower provides state-of-the-art prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical intervention for orthopedic conditions. Advanced areas of expertise include physical therapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitation services, balance clinic and fall prevention, sports medicine, joint replacements, foot and ankle care, hand and upper extremity care, physiatry, acupuncture, and orthopedic trauma. Eisenhower Medical Center was named one of the best hospitals in the United States for total hip replacement and total knee replacement by Money magazine. Eisenhower ranked number two in the state of California for the number of total hip and knee replacements performed here (766), second only St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California, with 769 procedures.
Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower is a premier education, conference, and communications facility offering accredited educational programs to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals. Founded in 1981 by the Honorable Walter H. Annenberg, former ambassador to the Court of St. James’s, the center hosts national and international conferences to discuss and demonstrate advances in health care and to explore contemporary health care issues. The center’s goal is to provide health care professionals with new research information that will impact their practice and ultimately have an effect on the treatment of their patients. Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center at Eisenhower is considered a national model in the treatment of child sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Founded in 1986 by Frank and Barbara Sinatra, the center is dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse through programs of prevention, public education and psychological treatment for victims and affected family members.The Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center treats boys and girls of all ages – from as young as 18 months, up to age 18. Other childhood emotional problems treated at the center include selfesteem problems, self-assertiveness management and family crisis intervention. When the Center opened, Mr. and Mrs. Sinatra promised that no child who looks to the center for help will be turned away due to inability to pay for treatment. The center annually treats more than 700 young victims and their family members, 90 percent of whom are below poverty levels.
