Kristine Amouzandeh, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Kristine graduated from Loma Linda University in 2011. Her primary interest is in the care of the inpatient acute care population. Kristine is excited to join the Physical Therapy team here at Eisenhower Medical Center where patient care is of the highest quality.

Kelly Brady, MPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Kelly grew up in Southern Wisconsin attending the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Kelly graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Kelly moved to California in 2004 and has worked as a staff physical therapist since. Kelly works in the inpatient department specializing in orthopedic, neurologic and oncology patients.

Kimberly Burton, MPT/DPT, CSCS - Staff Physical Therapist

Kim has been a physical therapist for 22 years and has been with Eisenhower since 1980. Kim received her Masters and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees at Loma Linda University. Kim holds a specialty certification in strength and conditioning with an emphasis in orthopedics and pelvic health. Kim is an active member of APTA.

William Carlson, MPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Bill received his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 1995. Bill specializes in manual therapy with a primary interest in orthopedics. With an interest in endurance athletics like marathons, triathlons, bicycle racing and golf, Bill applies key biomechanical principles to his patients as well as himself.

Susan Rhea Carney, PT, MA, ESA

Susan graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Physical Therapy. She then continued on to San Francisco State University where she graduated with an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education. Susan has worked in many care settings including homecare, the public school system and acute rehabilitation. Susan is a continuing member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Susan is actively involved with her local chapter of the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) currently holding the position of secretary. Susan is currently a member of the Acute Rehabilitation team here at Eisenhower.

Terry Cartell, PT, CSCS - Staff Physical Therapist

Terry graduated from Loma Linda University in 1996 and has spent his career in the acute care settings. Terry is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with a strong interest in exercise and strengthening. Terry enjoys weight lifting, the San Diego Chargers, traveling, white water rafting and hiking. Terry currently works in the acute care hospital.

Marsha Christian, PTA - Community Class Coordinator

Marsha received her AS degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1977. Marsha has been with Eisenhower since 1994 and is one of our Community Class Coordinators providing class instruction in a variety of areas.

Tyler Curran, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Tyler graduated from Loma Linda University in 2011 with his concentration in the care of patients in the inpatient setting. Tyler has been working with Eisenhower Medical Center since January 2012. Tyler works in both the Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Center and the Inpatient Physical Therapy departments.

Robin Edberg, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Robin has worked in Physical Therapy since 1980. She has been a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of California since 1985. Robin has experience in Inpatient Acute Care, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing. Robin has worked for Eisenhower Medical Center over 17 years.

Liz Edmundson, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Liz has been employed at Eisenhower since 1980. Liz has worked in all areas of our department, specializing in workers compensation, orthopedic and balance therapy areas of care. Liz also teaches community education classes, working closely with our Diabetes Education Center, and also helps mentor new employees.

Diane Edwards, PT - Staff Physical Therapist

Diane Edwards grew up in California and graduated from Magnolia High School in Anaheim California. This was followed by several years of varied work environments. Remaining a life-long learner, Diane took various science and drafting courses in community colleges in Orange and San Diego counties. In 1980 Diane became a massage therapist, working private clients in the San Diego/La Jolla area. In 1993 Diane reveived her two yr AS in biology before transferring to Long Beach State Univeristy majoring in Physical Therapy. Working and schooling part time, Diane entered into the PT program at CSULB and graduated with a BS there in 1997. Upon completion of required internships, and gaining California state PT licensure, Diane began working for Eisenhower Medical Center where she remains as a staff physical therapist. Diane continues to enrich her PT skills with regular continuing education course work in orthopedic, balance and neurological studies.

Chris Farrell, PT - Staff Physical Therapist

Chris received his PT degree in 1995 from Daemen College in Amherst, New York. He has clinical interests in post-operative rehabilitation, work station ergonomic analysis, orthopedics and sports medicine. He has worked in the La Quinta community since 1996 as a staff therapist for Eisenhower as well as a manager of an outpatient private practice clinic.

Ben Fitzpatrick, MPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Ben received his Masters in Physical Therapy from California State University - Long Beach in 2008. Ben has working in the inpatient Physical Therapy area of Eisenhower since July 2010. Ben is an avid runner, regularly competing in community distance events.

Teresa Flaum, MPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Teresa received her MPT degree from California State University Northridge in 1998. Teresa has been with Eisenhower since August of 1998. Here emphasis is in balance and vestibular rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Teresa speaks English and Spanish.

Chris Graham, PT - Staff Physical Therapist

Chris received her Bachelors of Science degree from the Ohio State University in 1984. Chris has been with Eisenhower since 1984. Chris has a general background in orthopedics/work conditioning and is employed part-time at the Palm Springs Physical Therapy clinic.

Carol Ibarra, BS, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Carol received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Long Beach State University in 1992 and Associates Degree for Physical Therapy Assistants from Loma Linda University in 1997. Carol has been with Eisenhower since 1998. Carol's interest of focus is in manual therapy and strain/counterstrain. Carol is fluent in both English and Spanish. 

Bradley S Jones, BS, DPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Brad graduated with a BS in health science and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2011.  He currently works in the outpatient rehabilitation center in the Dolores Hope building at EMC.  He has an interest in orthopedic and sports related injuries as well as balance and vestibular dysfunction. 

Kirk Kramer, MPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Kirk grew up in Southern California and graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. Kirk enjoys working with neurologically impaired patients, especially with helping patients regain the ability to walk. Kirk is working in the Inpatient Physical Therapy department. Kirk is currently living in Murietta with his wife and daughter.

Sheri Kuhn, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Sheri received her Associates of Science degree from Los Angeles Pierce College in 1979. She has worked more than 30 years in a variety of settings including acute care, trauma center, acute rehabilitation and outpatient areas. Sheri has worked at Eisenhower for 12 years specializing in outpatient orthopedic, neurological and balance rehabilitation.

Susan Le, DPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Susan is originally from the bay area. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Health Sciences and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2012. She has an interest in orthopedic and neurological injuries. She currently works in the outpatient rehabilitation center in the Dolores Hope building at Eisenhower Medical Center. Susan enjoys running, spending quality time with family and volunteering at dog rescues.

Jean Lenic, PT, OCS, CSCS - Staff Physical Therapist

Jean completed her Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1994. She received her Certified Strength and Conditioning credentials in 2000 and she has been an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist since 2002. Jean is an avid outdoor person; she has been with Eisenhower for 15 years and currently works in the Palm Springs office.

Maria Feby Renee Martirez, PT - Staff Physical Therapist

Feby graduated in 2000 and ventured in various physical therapy settings from skilled nursing, home health, acute rehab, inpatient and outpatient.  In 2005, she became Neuro-IFRAH certified  in treating stroke patients. To contribute to the field of physical therapy, she assisted in the LEAPS (Locomotor Experience Applied Post Stroke) program, an NIH funded multi-randomized clinical trial in 2007-2009 which was completed at the University of Southern California (USC). Feby currently works in acute rehab and is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor. 

Herb Neufeld, PT - Staff Physical Therapist

Herb received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Manitoba in 1989. He has been with Eisenhower since 1990. His experience is primarily in orthopedics with some specialization in myofascial pain as well as foot and ankle disorders. Herb is trained in the fabrication of custom orthotics.

Christina Pasillas, PT - Staff Physical Therapist

Christina received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Indiana University - Blamington. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California. Christina is happily treating patients on the acute rehab and inpatient units. She enjoys hiking, rock climbing, photography and spending time with family and friends. Christina joined the EMC team in 2012.

Mitzi Reul, MSPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Mitzi graduated with her Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Mitzi has over 30 years experience in the field of Physical Therapy, including having owned her own private practice in New York City. During that time, Mitzi rehabilitated New York City based pitchers for the Oakland A's and Detroit Tigers, working closely with their head trainers. She has also worked with senior tennis stars in the Nuveen Tennis tournament at Westchester Ct. Mitzi's NYC experience also included treating the women's running team "Moving Comfort". Mitzi returned to Southern California in 2000 and is currently working as part of the Eisenhower Outpatient department specializing in balance and vestibular rehabilitation.

Marc Rivera, MPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Marc is a graduate of Loma Linda University. He received his Associates degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda in 1999 and worked at Loma Linda University Medical Center as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Marc returned to school at Loma Linda and received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 and holds his Physical Therapy License in the State of California. Marc has experience in Inpatient Acute Care, Orthopedics, Critical Care and Rehabilitation. Marc has been with Eisenhower Medical Center since 2005.

Margot Rostand, MSPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Margot received her Masters of Science degree from Simmons College in 1994.  Margot has been with Eisenhower since 1994.  Margot is Intensive Care Unit certified and works in the Acute Care setting.  Margot's areas of interest include critical care, neurologic patients and patients with multiple medical issues.

Morgan Schuman, DPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Morgan received both her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Initially, she worked in Chicago with a geriatric population consisting primarily of orthopedic and neurologic conditions. After moving to Southern California, Morgan joined the Eisenhower team in March 2012, working primarily in the Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation department.

Brandie Sharp, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Brandie received her Associates of Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant at Loma Linda University and her Bachelors of Science degree at Utah State University.  She has been working at EMC since 2010.  She has also been involved in teaching MS community classes.

Ken Shok, MPT, OCS, CSCS - Staff Physical Therapist

Ken received his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Chapman University in 1989. In 1993, he completed a full time year long residency program specializing in orthopedic manual therapy. He holds the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) credential from the American Physical Therapy Association and the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2004, he completed the certification program for the treatment of lymphedema. For the past 20 years, he has worked in a variety of settings treating both neurologic and orthopedic injuries.

Adam Smith, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Adam received his Associates of Science degree from Loma Linda University in 2000. He has been working at Eisenhower since 2001. Adams interests lie in neurological based physical therapy. Adam currently works in our inpatient department.

Jeffrey Temple, PTA - Staff Physical Therapy Assistant

Jeffrey recieved his Associates Degree in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University and studied his undergraduate at La Sierra University in Kinesology.  Jeff's focus at Loma Linda University was in Orthopedics and Manual Therapy.  Jeff currently enjoys working at Eisenhower's Palm Springs Outpatient clinc helping patients with a wide variety of diagnoses.

Florence Tse, PT, MS - Staff Physical Therapist

Florence received her Bachelors of Science degree from HK Polytechnic University in 1987 and Advanced Masters of Science degree from Boston University in 1994. She is now working towards her Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Florence has been with Eisenhower since 1998. She is certified in vestibular rehabilitation with special interests in balance & vestibular training as well as general orthopedics. Florence is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Kirsten Urtiaga, PT, DPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Kirsten graduated in 2011 from St. Augustine University, San Diego. Kirsten was born and raised in the Coachella Valley and is happy to be back. Kirsten has a continuing interest in developing her skills with orthopedic, manual and vestibular rehabilitation populations. Kirsten currently works in the Dolores Hope Outpatient Center.

Doug Worthley, MSPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Doug received his Masters of Science degree from Mount Saint Mary's College in 1997. Doug has been with Eisenhower since 2004. He currently practices in inpatient acute physical therapy as well as outpatient physical therapy with a personal interest in orthopedic rehabilitation. Doug is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Bob Wright, MA, MSPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Bob received his Masters of Science degree from Texas Women's University in 1984 and has practiced physical therapy for the past 25 years. He has a BA degree from the University of Michigan and an MA degree from Colgate University. He has been with Eisenhower since 1998.

Ken Zaparinuk, PT, DPT, OCS, BScPE - Staff Physical Therapist

Ken started at Eisenhower in 1994. He recieved his Bachelor's in both Physical Therapy and Physical Education from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada in 1993. He has been a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist since 2008. In 2010, he completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He has been assisting with teaching the anatomy class for entry level doctorate students at Western University. Ken's emphasis has been in orthopedic and sports medicine including post operative rehabilitation for a variety of surgical interventions. Ken is also involved with the treatment of lymphedema.

Lisa Ziomek, PT - Staff Physical Therapist

Lisa received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1981. She has over 20 years experience in pediatrics and is registered in hippotherapy. Since moving to the desert in 2007, Lisa has been with Eisenhower in the inpatient rehab department as well as doing outpatient pediatrics.
