It is the policy of Information Services not to interfere with or support the operation or settings of non-EMC computers.  Therefore, the Help Desk is not authorized to assist you if you are having trouble connecting to any EMC application from any PC device that is not connected to the EMC network.

It is recommended that the following requirements are necessary to log into EMC web applications from a non EMC computer through an Internet Service Provider:

  • Use Internet Explorer up to Ver 7.
  • Do Not have any 3rd party browser toolbars installed. (Google, Yahoo, etc.)
  • Disable Pop-up blocking.
  • First log into the network using your Windows Login, then use the applications log in if necessary (e.g. Net Learning using your employee ID and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number).
