The Desert Diabetes Club is a support group that meets on the third Wednesday of each month October through May (exceptions December and March) from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenower. Various speakers are scheduled to address educational issues and concerns of this patient population and their loved ones.

Annually in March the Club sponsors the Jim Cook Day of Hope for Diabetes, a full day, free event featuring multiple speakers and a product fair. The 2015 event will take place on Saturday, March 28, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower.
