Eisenhower Promotes Heart Healthy Living

February is American Heart Month. This month’s issue focuses on matters of the heart —  be sure to also take note of the numerous lectures around the valley aimed at providing information to you to keep healthy.

Eisenhower Medical Center is proud to recently earn the highest designation for Chest Pain Center Accreditation by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC). In 2012, Eisenhower was the first medical center in the area to be Cycle IV accredited, the highest available level of accreditation.

Chest Pain Centers strive to quickly diagnose cardiac patients, begin treatment within minutes and significantly improve the chance of a positive outcome. Studies show that Chest Pain Centers reduce mortality rates by 37 percent.
